Re: You stay classy now David's.....
This is truly a shambles, even by our standards. It's no wonder so many corners of the media laugh at our business. Sullivan is rapidly turning into Trump with his ego knowing no boundaries and his recent delivery of fake poll results.

As long as he is in charge our transfer activity will continue to be revealed on social media via his son and his pawns (or 'ITKs' as they're known) will continue to attempt to destabilise the current manager's position. It's beyond farcical now.

Blues fan here, omg can't believe you will have them two chancers, barrow boys, muppets, twats in charge of you lot soon god help yous....welcome to the world of very very average players being signed from the fizzy pop leagues, sully loves a gamble on some mickey mouse no mark player that he thinks he's going to sell for £20m in a few years, all I can say is that before every transfer window he will promise you the world and deliver you jackshite, the man is a cock of the highest order and you are about to find that out in the next year. k.r.o.

Re: You stay classy now David's.....
this one was spookily accurate:

"To find out what approach Sullivan, Gold and Brady will take towards West Ham just look back in the archives for their time at Birmingham - the initial comments already create an overwhelming sense of deja vu... Firstly, tell the fans an amount that you are in debt (their figures, not necessarily substantiated)- the fear created justifies the inevitable increase in ticket prices in the summer (Birmingham were more expensive to watch than Man Utd)
Secondly, blame high wages for the club's problems, but then make out that you will spend a huge sum of money on a 'star' player's wages (conveniently unnamed) - there was never any realistic chance that the player would sign, but gives the supporters the false impression that these guys are prepared to back big transfers
Thirdly, avoid spending any money on facilities by trying to move the club to a new ground that someone else has paid for - ie the 2012 Olympic Stadium - witness the failed campaign aimed at getting the City Council to pay for a new stadium in Birmingham which the club would move to but not contribute towards

Remember seeing that on here when they first jumped on board... got to admit I had my reservations but was shouted out down as the vast majority daw them as SAVIOURS of our club... always said from day one the only Saviours those three are is in their own pockets... good luck to them... they are all Business people and there is no pretending otherwise...

Just read those comments from Brum fans 8 years ago.

Spot on. Nothing has changed.

We need new owners would be the conclusion :-(

Re: You stay classy now David's.....
We lose at Hull and cannot get points against Swansea or Sunderland (which based on current form and injuries is a possibility) he could be gone before we know it. That said, you do not put anything in the public domain like they consistently do. Keep quiet for gawds sake.

I work with a bunch of blue noses currently (Brum fans) and they said that publicity seeking and gobbing off was one thing they also hated about S & G.

Quiet, dignified are two words never in the same sentence as Sullivan, Gold and Brady. They must have a "need" to be admired or appreciated which goes to show that all the money in the world does not fix a fragile psychology developed at a young age. Freud would probably point to Sullivan wetting the bed or being bullied at school or just having little man's syndrome and Gold being spoilt by his parents ? ;-)

I did like Sulli, Gold and the bird irrelevant, imo...not sure what to add really..other than is it not fair to say that he has backed his managers in pretty much every window? Aren't we the 5th highest spenders in recent times? Not denying that scary shit below but he does spend dough, albeit amongst the freebies and loanee nonsense that really needs to stop as from this summer

That's quite concerning and I remember the accusations being thrown around at the time, but in all honesty, I ignore them as "they're West Ham" and would have the club's best interests at heart.

Re: You stay classy now David's.....
Not normally one to look at kumb, but was curious if they were discussing this topic...just seen this post, quite astonishing:

"I remember a Birmingham supporter posting on here when G&S bought West Ham.

He basically predicted everything that is happening now, from promising Neymar and getting Paulista, undermining the manager in the press, to cashing in on the club's assets.

I wish I'd kept the post, I've tried searching for it without success. Perhaps one of the penthouse inhabitants of KUMB Towers might be able to dig it out?"

"blues fan here chaps....had a right laugh at this,if yous lot think dux is bad with the spin, just wait till sully start coming out with the ***** he will defo surpass duxbury, now i dont want to burst your bubbble this morning but in 2/3 years time you will defo be doing this"

Good luck chaps......but sully as got to be the biggest "tw@t" in great britian.....sully will run that club from top to bottom as gold is just his bitch....they found a great formula at blues for making money out of yo yoing.......im just waiting now for sully to say you have got 20 deals on the go before the window shuts, and really you will end up with jackshite, then before you know it upson will have been sold for £10 million in this window or the next.....i know you dont want to believe this, this morning, but sully is a 24 caret tw@t.....end of rant.....

Is it coincidence that Birmingham's fortunes have turned up since the point when this group departed? The increased harmony at the club is reflected on the pitch and the reduction in pressure from the Board has allowed the manager to make his own decisions, most of which now seem to be delivering results, and actually look like he is enjoying himself!

Birmingham's fans, like those of any club, can certainly be accused of periods of unrealistic expectation - but then as he has already done at West Ham it was Sullivan himself that made comments about Champions League qualification, not the supporters...

Ungrateful? On occasions for sure, but being regularly reminded for 15 years of how our club was 'saved' eventually wears a little thin... and if the chauffeured Rolls Royce journey caused Sullivan 'fatigue', then don't be shocked that a working class fan base doesn't show you the adoration you crave...keep right on..and up the blues...."

unbelievable...

Re: You stay classy now David's.....
Most of the time, I'm far enough away to not really be concerned about what goes on with the media etc simply because I don't see it, BUT.....

This is all starting to wear a bit thin with me now because, like many others, I just wish the owners would keep their mouths shut, stay off Twitter, and concentrate their energies on putting together a coherent recruitment policy focused on younger players with room for improvement, and adding value, and get behind their manager. And do it all privately so all we see is tangible results without having to hear about their struggles or opinions publicly.

I seriously could not give two shits about how they get things done, as long as they improve our squad, and for those who can actually go to the OS, improve the experience for you too.

WHUDeano 1:31 Fri Mar 31
Re: You stay classy now David's.....
Sullivan & Brady will be embarrassed. Nothing has really gone to plan this season (other than moving stadium). The signings from all parties have been awful, no one has come in and improved us. The recent decision to sign 29+ year old players with prem experience is ridiculous - we have one of the biggest pitches in the league, what we don't need are older players with little pace and a dwindling stamina. We need young, hungry players with energy. Fernandes + 6 or 7 more.

We have gone backwards, Bilic has certainly played a part in that, but since the day they arrived Sullivan, Gold & Brady have consistently lied, penny pinched and lied some more.

They have sold our soul, lied to the fans about the ground, and are now investing the minimum to tread water for the first 5 years so they get the full 100% of the sale.

The only legacy they will leave is the destruction of the club for the majority of the fanbase. If we stay in the Premier League people will still pay to attend, and if affordable football pushes into home games there will be a working class element again. But it will never be the West Ham we all loved, and for that David fucking Sullivan and his chums can and will never be forgiven no matter what happens in the next 10 - 20 years.

Re: You stay classy now David's.....
"Why would they undermine a manager" ?

Why indeed, when it's ALWAYS publically, rather than kept in-house.

But they have done though, to every single manager that they have employed, unless there was one at Birmingham City, that they managed to keep their gobs shut about.

Of course if it worked wonders, with drastic improvements in results and the avoidance of relegations along the way, you'd find more clubs following their example.

Except it doesn't and other clubs don't.

That they haven't grasped this after so many years pulling the same stunt time and time again beggars belief.
